POSITION

on scientific research, digital and museum-educational
center at the Institute of History and Regional Studies of the Kyrgyz
National University named after J. Balasagyn

The aim of the center is to develop scientific research, digital education and museum activities in the field of history and regional studies, as well as to disseminate knowledge and attract a wide audience to study the history of Kyrgyzstan. The center strives to become a leading center for historical research and education, influencing the development of the field of history and regional studies both in Kyrgyzstan and abroad, attracting a wide audience to actively study the history and cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan.

The Center, based on public principles, seeks to actively attract grant funds to fully implement the set tasks and achieve the goals. In its activities, the Center will involve students, postgraduates and young scientists, as well as establish cooperation with the academic community, organizations and local communities aimed at developing and improving research and educational programs.

General Provisions:

The Research, Digital and Museum-Educational Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) is a structural subdivision of the Institute of History and Regional Studies.

The purpose of the Center is to organize and develop scientific research, digital educational programs and museum activities in the field of history and regional studies based on public principles. The head of the Center is a person appointed by the management of the institute, responsible for the general management and development of the Center.

The main functions and tasks of the Center:

Organization and support of research activities in the field of history and regional studies.

Developing and delivering digital educational programs, courses and resources aimed at spreading knowledge about history and regions.

Organization and support of museum exhibitions, educational programs and events related to history and regional culture.

Interacting with public organizations, local communities, government agencies and partners to implement projects and research.

Center Resources:

The Centre has access to academic resources, databases, archives and libraries necessary for conducting scientific research.

The Centre has digital technologies and equipment for developing and delivering digital educational programmes and creating interactive museum resources.

The Center may use the material and financial resources of the Institute and attract additional funding through grants, donations and other sources of funding to carry out its activities.

Organizational structure of the Center:

The centre consists of departments responsible for scientific research, digital education and museum activities.

The Center may include research staff, teaching staff, as well as specialists in the field of digital technologies, museum studies and communications.

Department heads are responsible for organizing and coordinating activities in their area, as well as ensuring interaction between departments.

Center Management:

The Head of the Center is responsible for the general management and development of the Center, coordination of its activities and interaction with the management of the Institute.

The Head of the Center forms working groups and committees for the implementation of specific projects and tasks. The Head of the Center represents the Center at external events, conferences and interacts with partners and stakeholders.

Financial statements:

The Centre maintains financial records and ensures transparency and efficient use of financial resources.

The financial statements of the Center are subject to audit and submission to the management of the Institute.

Final Provisions:

The Regulations on the Center may be changed or supplemented by decision of the Institute’s management.

The Center cooperates with other divisions of the Institute and interacts with scientific, educational and cultural organizations to achieve its goals and objectives.
