The first PhD students in the field of "Pedagogy" successfully defended their dissertations
On February 18, 19, 20, 2025, PhD dissertation defenses were held in the digital technology center of the main building of the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn in the field of 550700 - "Pedagogy".
The defenses took place in accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 601 of December 11, 2020 "On the procedure for organizing postgraduate professional education" and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 517 of August 27, 2024 "On the procedure for organizing postgraduate professional education and awarding the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) / Doctor in the profile". Also, doctoral students fulfilled all the requirements of the Internal Regulations of KNU named after J. Balasagyn "On the training of doctors of philosophy (PhD) / doctors in the profile" and regulatory legal acts.
Based on the order of the Vice-Rector for Research M. M. Dyldaev No. 568 dated 23.12.2024, 3rd year doctoral students submitted their dissertations for defense:
- Lou Bin “Comparative study of English textbooks for senior classes in Kyrgyzstan and China”. Supervisor: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Higher Education Pedagogy of the Institute of Social Sciences, Asipova Nurbubu Asanalievna;
- Liu Chunhan "Comparative study of the content and methods of aesthetic education in China and Kyrgyzstan" Supervisor: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Higher Education of the Institute of Social Sciences, Asipova Nurbubu Asanalievna;
- Zhou Xiangfeng "Cultural aspect in pedagogical research of the Kyrgyz Republic and the People's Republic of China". Supervisor: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Pedagogy of the Higher School of the Institute of Social Sciences, Gulmira Tashtanovna Karabalaeva;
- Ding Qian “Current situation and employment prospects for those studying Chinese in the Kyrgyz Republic”. Supervisor: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Higher Education Pedagogy, ISGN Karabalaeva Gulmira Tashtanovna;
- Wang Changning "Comparative analysis of design education in universities of China and the Kyrgyz Republic. Supervisor: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Pedagogy of the Higher School of the Institute of Social Sciences, Gulmira Tashtanovna Karabalaeva.
At the preliminary defenses held on January 25 and 27, 2025, expert juries carefully analyzed the dissertations and recommended them for public defense. During the defense, it was noted that the dissertation research was carried out at a high level and met all requirements.
Based on the results of the defense, the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn made a decision to award the applicants the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the direction 550700 - Pedagogy
