On January 22, 2024, courses began in the "Academic English for PhD Supervisors" program. Classes are taught by Evgeniya Zaitseva, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of International Relations and Foreign Languages and a graduate of the American program at the University of Arizona (USA).
The aim of the course is to acquire skills in using academic English in professional activities, as well as to compile professionally relevant materials for the purpose of consistently and logically conveying academic information to PhD students.
The 60-hour course is designed for faculty members of PhD programs at higher education institutions.
The course was organized on the initiative of the head of the PhD program, Ermek Laylieva.
The course will run until March 1, 2024.
